It’s about two weeks from the presentation of the Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. One of the few things yet to be discovered about these models is their price and that changes from today.
The highly regarded Evan Blass has published the prices of Google’s new smartphones on Twitter. The figures shown show that Pixel 4 will have some competitive advantage in this regard.
Google Pixel 4
- Pixel 4 with 64 GB – 718 €
- Pixel 4 with 128 GB – 766 €
- Pixel 4 XL with 64 GB – 766 €
- Pixel 4 XL with 128 GB – 930 €
Please note that the original listing contains Canadian dollar amounts. The above values result from the direct conversion at the current exchange rate and may change depending on the market.
Means that the values to be practiced may vary from country to country. It would not be the first time that values in Europe would be higher than those practiced on the American continent.
Focusing on the values revealed, we see that the Google Pixel 4 will not be cheap, but can be slightly below some of its competitors. The iPhone 11 Pro, for example, starts at 1179 €. Already the Samsung Galaxy Note 10, which is not even the most powerful version of the smartphone , starts at 979 €.
If Pixel 4 arrived in Portugal with values starting at 750 € would be a great alternative to the above examples. You would be buying a pure Android smartphone, a timely update and a great camera.
What to expect from Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL
Starting with their design, Google smartphones will have a camera that resembles that of the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro. We’re talking about a square module that will be shelter for both lenses and their LED flash.
Already in the front, we will have reduced margins, but not as much as many would wish. Google has set aside some space at the top to include some sensors that will give Pixel 4 more possibilities.
Firstly, Google Pixel 4 will abolish the fingerprint sensor to offer us only the facial recognition. This will be matched by Apple’s Face ID, which gives us more security than most proposals in the Android world.
Secondly, we’ll have Motion Sense functionality that requires radar sensors to recognize the your gestures. These will allow you to perform various tasks without having to have physical contact with your smartphone.
The display of the Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL is set to day 15 October, New York.
